What Will You Make Possible with Us? Your step-by-step guide to our internship program. Before You Apply

1. Plan Your Timeline

Applications for our 2023 programs will open globally on July 1, 2022. Select programs in the Americas will open early on April 1, 2022 – explore our programs for more information. We review applications and extend offers on a rolling basis, which means we may fill all available spaces for some divisions and locations prior to the application deadline.

2. Choose Your Path

Our programs range from one-week spring internships to full-time positions. Learn more about our firm and our people to help you explore what it’s like to work at Goldman Sachs and to choose the divisions and locations that align with your skills and interests.

As You Apply

3. Connect With Us

Register at My GS Events to sign up for our virtual and in-person events including information sessions, skill building workshops, conferences, panel discussions, networking events and more. Don’t worry if you’re not able to meet us in person. We offer a range of opportunities to learn about our firm both online and via virtual events. Your school careers office can help you connect with alumni working at Goldman Sachs. There may also be campus ambassadors at your school who can share their experiences as former interns.

4. Submit Your Application

Now that you’ve learned more about Goldman Sachs, it’s time to submit your application. For help or technical support, check our FAQs or email careersfeedback@gs.com. Because the same skills may translate to multiple divisions, we encourage you to learn about all of the opportunities at Goldman Sachs before you make a decision.

After You Apply

5. First Interview

If your application is selected, you will be asked to participate in a video interview, which will take approximately 30 minutes to complete. Engineering applicants will be asked to take a HackerRank assessment.

6. Superday

If selected following your HireVue interview, you’ll be invited to a day of in-person interviews at a Goldman Sachs location. Typically, we conduct between two and five interviews for campus hires, depending on the division. You can expect to meet a cross-section of people whom you could possibly work with.
