Applications for students entering college in the fall of 2025 are now open!

The College of Wooster uses a holistic review process to fully assess your candidacy for admission. All materials you choose to submit will be considered, and our Admission Committee gives due consideration to many different expressions of a student’s qualities and abilities: scholastic achievements, extracurricular activities, character, and promise to contribute to the intellectual and social life of our distinct academic community. Students have the option to include performance on standardized tests.

First-Year Applicants

U.S. citizens or permanent U.S. residents entering college for the first time.

International Applicants

Non-U.S. citizens or non-permanent U.S. residents entering college for the first time.

Transfer Applicants

Students who began their college academic career at another institution.

Gap Year/Deferred Applicants

Students who choose to defer enrollment for a semester or year.

Homeschool Applicants

Students who completed their academic work through a home-schooling program.

If severe weather or other crisis (such as a natural disaster, community tragedy, or teacher strikes) causes you to miss a standardized test date, prevents your school from submitting materials on time, or causes other unanticipated hardship, please let our Admissions Office know.
